Frank Turk is a teacher worthy of honor. Why? Because he uses everyday language to explain the solutions to problems we face everyday. This time he hit me right in the face with my own propensity to sin. Way too often, we seek forgiveness rather than permission. Of course asking permission to sin, would be ludicrous, so in our rebellious heart we decide to do what WE WANT to do rather than obey his commandments in the first place. At the beginning, when sin is percolating in our soul. it is our own lust and selfishness, and rebellion that allow it to come to fruition, because we know we can always ask for forgiveness later. GOD FORBID such an attitude becomes the norm in our lives.
