Today, while most of America has been fixated on the Mueller indictment, a gigantic news story has nearly slipped through the cracks.
At around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, U.S. Officials with knowledge of the situation announced that an American special ops team working with Libyan forces had captured a key leader in the September 11, 2012 attack on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya that resulted in the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stephens along with 3 other Americans.
As the afternoon progressed, more details emerged which revealed that Mustafa al-Imam is currently in U.S. custody on-board an American naval ship, and is en-route to the United States to be brought to justice for his suspected role in the attack.
President Trump, who ordered the mission to apprehend al-Imam, stated that this capture proves that America’s “memory is deep, and our reach is long.”
On a day when we as a Nation are being bombarded with euphoric media coverage of craven political hacks who colluded with our enemies to enrich themselves, it is good to be reminded that thanks to the patriots in our armed services and intelligence agencies, we are still the good guys, and that the good guys are still making the bad guys pay.
