Lay Aside the Weight of “I’ll Never Change”
How many times have you heard someone say, (after a really egregious offense of language, or a flare of anger), sorry, that’s just the way I am. How many times have we found this coming out of our own mouth? Is it JUST THE WAY YOU ARE? As if we are incapable of changing? “God is faithful to complete that which He has begun in you.” Change IS possible. We just need to quit lying to ourselves, because we don’t really want to give up persistent sins in our life. Change isn’t easy and it does not come without cost. Jesus paid an enormous price to set you free and to set me free. Why am I not grateful enough to lay down my sin?
