The Iranian people may not have a voice, but we do.
I had the honor of representing The Heritage Foundation this week at a “Stop Iran Now” rally in New York City’s Times Square. Over 12,000 people filled seven city blocks. They say it was one of the largest demonstrations ever held in Times Square.
There’s nothing like the fear of a nuclearized Iran and Middle East to bring together so many people from across the political, religious and cultural spectrum to stand in opposition to President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran.
Others addressing the crowd included liberal Harvard law professor Alan Dershowtiz,, former Republican Congressman Allen West, Steven Emerson of the Investigative Project on Terrorism, actor Tony Lobianco of “The French Connection” fame, Fox News commentator Monica Crowley, former CIA director James Woolsey and several former military and political leaders.
Obama may believe that any deal with Iran is better than no deal…
He may believe that terrorist regimes that chant “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” really don’t mean it…
He may believe that a deal that is “temporary” will permanently keep Iran from building nuclear weapons once the ban is lifted…
He may believe that a deal that leaves Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and ballistic missile program largely in place will somehow make Iran a more peaceful nation…
